Your home's insulation is the single biggest factor in your energy bills, comfort level, and indoor air quality. If your home was built with fiberglass batts — or if that insulation is more than 15–20 years old — you're paying more than you should to heat and cool a house that still doesn't feel comfortable.
Spray foam insulation fixes the root problem: air infiltration. While fiberglass and blown-in insulation slow heat transfer, they do nothing to stop air movement. Every gap around a wire penetration, every unsealed plumbing chase, every crack where drywall meets framing — that's conditioned air escaping and outdoor air pushing in. Spray foam seals all of it.
Where to Start: The Biggest Impact First
Not every home needs full-envelope spray foam on day one. We help homeowners prioritize based on where they'll get the most impact for their investment:
Attic insulation — The #1 priority for most homes. Your attic is where 25–40% of your heating and cooling energy escapes. Spraying the underside of the roof decking brings your attic into the conditioned envelope and delivers the most dramatic comfort improvement.
Crawl space encapsulation — If you have a vented crawl space, you have a moisture problem — even if you can't see it yet. Closed cell spray foam on the crawl space walls, combined with a vapor barrier on the floor, stops moisture, improves indoor air quality, and eliminates that "cold floor" feeling in winter.
Exterior walls — For new construction or major renovations, spraying exterior wall cavities creates the tightest possible building envelope. Open cell fills the cavity completely; closed cell adds structural rigidity and a vapor barrier.
Bonus rooms and knee walls — These awkward spaces are notorious for comfort problems. The irregular framing and complex geometry make fiberglass installation nearly impossible to do well. Spray foam fills every gap regardless of geometry.
New Construction vs. Retrofit
For new builds, we work directly with your builder to spray foam at the optimal point in the construction sequence — typically after rough-in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC are complete but before drywall. This is the most cost-effective time to insulate because all surfaces are accessible.
For existing homes, we focus on the highest-impact areas that can be accessed without major demolition: attics, crawl spaces, rim joists, and any areas opened up during renovation.
The Comfort Difference
Homeowners who upgrade to spray foam consistently report the same thing: the house feels different. Rooms that were always too hot or too cold become comfortable. The AC doesn't run constantly. The house is quieter. Dust and allergens decrease. It's not just insulation — it's a whole-home performance upgrade.
